I am a 'passionate perennialist' with over 20 years of hands-on experience.  As a garden consultant, designer, writer, teacher and lecturer, I specialize in low-maintenance garden and landscape design, incorporating perennials, ornamental grasses, flowering shrubs, bulbs, and no-fuss annuals.  

I can speak on over 20 different topics ranging from tips for a low-maintenance perennial garden; cottage gardening; shade gardening; garden maintenance; designing for a four-season garden; ornamental flowering shrubs; outrageous foliage plants; gardening with children; super shortcuts to save time and simplify work in the garden; and many other topics.   My presentations include colorful PowerPoints and helpful handouts.  For more than a decade now I have spoken for hundreds of groups ranging in size from 10 to 400 people.  I encourage audience participation for a lively and interactive experience.  Presentations can vary in length from an hour to a full day symposium.

My fees vary depending on the nature and size of the group.  Travel expenses are additional.
